    WHO TO CALL?

    Absences from Class
    If you are sick and will miss that days’ class, please call the studio and let the Desk Staff know your name & the class you will be missing.

    If you know in advance that you have a conflict on a class day, please let the Desk Staff know. Your name and the date that you will miss class will be logged into the Attendance Book and your instructor will be notified of your excused absence.

    Policy for Make-up classes:
    Art – A student may call the studio and reserve a seat in any other art class within his/her appropriate age level as a make-up class.

    Dance - A student may call the studio and reserve a seat in any other dance class within his/her appropriate skill level as a make-up class.

    Discovery Gym – Each Discovery Gym student will receive between 1 and 3 Open Gym Passes which can be redeemed for FREE admission into an Open Gym.

    The Music Academy - When you enroll in a private or group lesson at EMC, you are reserving a weekly time-slot or a chair in a group lesson/band. It is the student's responsibility to attend all lessons and classes as scheduled. Instructors are contracted and paid by EMC based on your registration, NOT on your attendance. If a student misses a private lesson due to a student conflict, INCLUDING ILLNESS, one make-up lesson will be offered each semester. Fall Make-up lessons will be held between December 7-12, 2009. Winter/Spring Make-up lessons will be held between June 7-12, 2010. Any lessons that are canceled by EMC due to inclement weather, teacher conflict, etc will be rescheduled at the convenience of the instructor. EMC reserves the right to offer a qualified substitute instructor when necessary. We do not guarantee that your lesson will remain with the same instructor throughout the year. We do, however, promise to provide a highly qualified music instructor who is proficient in the instrument the student is studying.

    Birthday Parties & Studio Rental

    Boutique – “The Closet at EMC”
    Miss Danielle is our Boutique Diva. She manages the inventory and can special order any items you are interested in. EMC’s Boutique policy is that all purchases and orders must be paid for at the time of sale or when the order is placed. There will be no purchases charged to an EMC account and no staff discounts. The Boutique is a self funding service that EMC is providing for our customers. Thank you for understanding.

    Dance Ensemble

    Events
    EMC hosts many family friendly events throughout the year including: Discovery Gym Flip-a-Thon, Father Daughter Dance, Ballerina Tea, Summer Play Days and more.

    Also, don’t miss the FREE family parties hosted by EMC, including: Holiday Ball in December, Sock Hop in April and the EMC Picnic in July.
