Experimental Movement Concepts' Discovery Gym provides non-competitive, educational gymnastics in a safe and positive environment.

Through our affiliation with Gymnastics of York, our instructors receive the highest standard of training available in the area. Discovery Gym staff members are CPR certified and take every precaution in order to ensure the safety of our gymnasts.

Our facility is designed for students, ages 18 months to 12 years old. At age 12, our staff will help interested students enroll in classes at Gymnastics of York if they wish to pursue further gymnastics training. Upon "graduation," Discovery Gym students should meet the qualifications required of Gymnastics of York and should make a smooth transition into their program.

The Discovery Gym is equipped with a tumble track, tumbling mats, balance beams, parallel bars and a vault. Students will receive age appropriate instruction on all equipment at a pace that is developmentally appropriate for each level. Conditioning and basic elements of dance are incorporated into the lesson plans and proper technique is always stressed.

At Discovery Gym, your child will develop strength, flexibility and confidence while learning gymnastics in fun and safe surroundings. Through goal-setting, positive reinforcement and an emphasis on technique, your child will thrive at Experimental Movement Concepts!
