Awesome Dance Show
"I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting much when I walked into the Pullo Center recently. My 14-year old daughter had a friend dancing in a show produced by Experimental Movement Concepts in New Freedom titled: The Rhythms of New York.” Boy was I wrong! One word- Wow! No, make that two words - Wow! And Awesome! Little kids, medium-size kids and big kids blew this middle-aged observer away. Look, I’m 51 years old. I don’t say awesome very much. But that Saturday evening, sitting in the darkness of the Pullo Center, mesmerized by what was unfolding before me, I must have leaned over and said to my daughter, “Bethany, this is awesome!” about 20 times. I overheard one person say after the show that he could sit through that again. Me too. So thanks to the Experimental Movements Concepts dance company for an “awesome” evening. Wow!"
