At EMC we believe in providing our community with access to classes that enrich the mind and body. New and different styles of movement, martial arts, fitness, foreign language, tutoring and more are on our summer line-up. Master teachers are brought in from Baltimore, York and surrounding areas and join our local teachers in delivering these classes in a professional yet fun learning environment.

Country Line Dancing

Easy step by step instructions will be given for beginners and those with basic knowledge. No partner is necessary! Wear comfortable clothes and leather sole shoes. CHILD-CARE IS NOW AVAILABLE!!!! For $5.00 per child / per week a babysitter will be on-site and will lead the children in crafts and games in the art room!
Couples Dancing

Basics of East and West Coast Swing, 2 Step and Waltz will be presented in a fun and easy to understand format.
Adult Tap

Adults who have an interest in learning this traditional American dance form will love this class. No experience necessary. Performance optional, based on student interest. Low pressure and fun!
Principles of Tai Chi Chuan / Chi Gong

Moms & Dads, do something good for yourself this summer! This instructor is excellent and will be traveling from Baltimore to bring his expertise to our community. This is a great class for people of all fitness levels. It contains gentle stretching, meditation, and breathing exercises. These flowing movements have been used in China for centuries to improve circulation and balance, increase longevity, reduce stress, and promote a sense of well being while increasing vitality. Flat bottom shoes and comfortable clothing is recommended. CHILD-CARE IS NOW AVAILABLE!!!! Total Body Strength & Conditioning

Finally, a toning class without all the jumping and heavy weights. In total body strength and conditioning we focus on each major muscle group through active and static strength exercises. We use our own body weight to help build strong bones and muscles. Feel your confidence soar as you become strong from head to toe.
Flexibility & Balance

During flexibility and balance you will be able to move at your own pace, elongating and centering your mind, body, and soul. We will stretch to help show more muscle definition and help aid in injury prevention. As we balance, you will be able to focus and feel the strength of your own body. We will end with some relaxation to help create inspiration and energize you for the day.
Kickboxing

Kickboxing is an intense aerobic style workout. It is packed with power, strength, and explosive movement. Whether you do it to get out your daily frustrations, or just for fun, you will definitely be able to feel the energy from this class!
Boot Camp

This class will push your body to the limit. We will work to build strength, endurance, and a drive to succeed! All of this through physical exercise. There's nothing to fear, except possibly a more in shape you.

Hope Again Tutoring Center

Fun with German
Instructor, Sallie Stchur
Start your child at an early age. (ages 6 and up) ALM (Audio-Lingual Method) listen and speak—the same way an infant learns to speak. Emphasis on pronunciation, useful expressions and phrases will be taught in a fun learning atmosphere. In order to maintain a high degree of personalized instruction, there will be a maximum of 4 students per class. It will meet twice a week for 30 minutes. Call early to reserve your spot. Classes will be filled on a first come, first serve basis with schedules being finalized starting in April. Classes will be taught by Sallie Stchur in the Violin Studio room. More advanced classes (and other languages) will be available at a later date if there is sufficient interest.
